HR 8752 = HD 217476 = V509 CASSIOPEIAE
     W. P. Bidelman, Warner and Swasey Observatory, reports:
"Plates (12 A/mm) taken on Aug. 3 and 7 of this spectroscopically-variable
middle-type star (cf. IAUC 3382) with our 91-cm reflector
show conspicuous H-alpha emission that is very similar to that observed
in 1976 Sept. by Lambert and Luck (Monthly Notices Roy. Astron. Soc.
184, 405). This object has been detected as a radio source (Higgs
et al. 1978, Astrophys.J.220, L109) and possesses a nearby early-type
companion (1978 Astron. Astrophys. 70, L53). This star should
be followed closely during its current active phase."
