COMET BRADFIELD (1980t)
William A. Bradfield, Dernancourt, near Adelaide, reports the
discovery of a comet, his eleventh. The following approximate
positions are available:

     1980 UT R. A. (1950) Decl. m1 Observer
     Dec. 17.751 16 20m0 -36 16 6 Bradfield
          18.72 16 23.5 -35 58 5-6 Herald

W. A. Bradfield (Dernancourt). Object diffuse with condensation,
   tail < 1o.
D. Herald (Kambah). Object difficult in the twilight, tail 0o.25-0o.5.

COMET LOVAS (1980s)
     C. Kowal, California Institute of Technology, provides the
following precise positions, obtained with the 1.2-m Schmidt
telescope at Palomar:

     1980 UT R. A. (1950) Decl. m1
     Dec. 14.46111 9 12 43.63 +33 40 53.1 17

1976 WA
This Apollo-type object has been recovered as follows:

     1980 UT R. A. (1950) Decl. Mag. Observer
     Apr. 20.35057 21 37 09.48 +14 07 17.7 Shao

C.-Y. Shao (Harvard College Observatory, Agassiz Station).
C. Kowal (Palomar Mountain Observatory). 1.2-m Schmidt telescope.

The object is in close agreement with the prediction on MPC
5040. An improved orbit will appear on the 1981 Jan. 1 MPCs.
