COMET ELIAS (1981c)
     Jonathan H. Elias, Cerro Tololo Interamerican Observatory, reports
his discovery of a comet as shown below.  The object is diffuse
with neither condensation nor tail.

     Computations by Bowell and by the undersigned suggest that
this is a minor planet of Griqua type (2:1 Jupiter librator).  Approximate
orbital elements: T = 1981 Feb. 1, Peri. = 137o, Node = 19o, Incl. =
2o.6, q = 1.70 AU, e = 0.49, a = 3.33 AU.  An ephemeris follows:
