epsilon AURIGAE
     M. Parthasarathy and D. L. Lambert, McDonald Observatory,
communicate the following correction to their note on IAUC 3848:
"Observations of epsilon Aur during totality phase show variation in the
strength of the K 770-nm resonance line. W-lambda was 0.055 nm during
1982 Dec.-1983 Mar. and 0.043 nm during 1983 Apr.-July. The H-alpha
line is broad, and the emission in the wings has disappeared."

KR AURIGAE
Visual magnitude estimates by J. Bortle, Stormville, NY: Aug.
10.37 UT, 12.8; 14.13, 12.9; 16.12, 13.0. When last observed
before conjunction this star was somewhat fainter (cf. IAUC 3793).

R CORONAE BOREALIS
     J. Mattei, AAVSO, informs us that recent observations indicate
that this object has started to fade. Visual magnitude estimates:
Aug. 10.25 UT, 6.3 (P. Collins, Cardiff, CA); 14.1, 5.9 (J.
Bortle, Stormville, NY); 22.1, 6.2 (Bortle); 23.19, 6.4 (Collins);
24.07, 6.6 (Bortle); 24.15, 6.6 (Collins); 25.07, 6.6 (M. Mattei,
Littleton, MA); 25.10, 6.8 (D. Weier, Madison, WI). The last
minimum was from 1977 Mar. (IAUC 3043, 3050) to 1978 Apr.

U AQUARII
Visual magnitude estimates by J. Bortle, Stormville, NY: July
21.81 UT, 12.8; Aug. 3.10, 12.3; 10.37, 12.1; 16.12, 12.1.

COMET IRAS-ARAKI-ALCOCK (1983d)
Estimates of total visual magnitude and coma diameter by
V. F. de Assis Neto, Sao Francisco de Oliveira, Brazil (10 x 70
