SUPERNOVA IN NGC 3625
P. Wild, Astronomical Institute, University of Berne, telexes
that T. Schildknecht has discovered a supernova 10" east and 2"
north of the nucleus of NGC 3625 (R.A. = 11h17m6, Decl. = +58deg04',
equinox 1950.0). Photovisual magnitudes: Dec. 6, 16.5; 12, 15.2.
VY AQUARII
Further visual magnitude estimates: Dec. 2.77 UT (K. Medway,
Southampton, England); 3.98, 11.3 (W. Morrison, Peterborough, ON);
9.00, 11.6 (J. Bortle, Stormville, NY).
R CORONAE BOREALIS
Visual estimates by M. Verdenet, Bourbon-Lancy, France, show
this star at mv = 13.7 during Nov. 2-7, 13.5 on Nov. 9.
