G. Schwartz and C.-Y. Shao (Oak Ridge). Correction to IAUC 4093.
A. Barthelemy (Caussols). Measurer: C. Pollas.
S. Singer-Brewster, D. Schneeberger, M. Rudnyk and M. Gallup (Palomar).
   0.46-m Schmidt. Measurer: Rudnyk (who also assisted with
   the 0.46-m Schmidt measures on IAUC 4093). The Aug. 19 position
   refers to the beginning of the trail. Communicated by E. Helin.
T. Gehrels (Kitt Peak). SPACEWATCH camera 0.91-m telescope.
   Measurement and reduction by J. V. Scotti.
A. Tokunaga, D. M. Griep and W. F. Golisch (Infrared Telescope
   Facility, Mauna Kea). Communicated by D. J. Tholen.

     Tholen also reports that his photometry showed 1985 PA on
Aug. 24 near V = 15.3 and steady; on Aug. 25 at V = 15.3, 15.5 and
15.6 (fading); and on Aug. 26 at V = 16.2 and 16.0 (brightening).
The amplitude is presumably close to 1.0 mag, and preliminary
analysis suggests that the period might be 8 days, although a period
of just under 1 day cannot be ruled out. Further photometry from
southern-hemisphere observers would be useful.

     Improved orbital elements from 14 observations Aug. 15-27:

          T = 1986 Feb. 5.327 ET
      Peri. = 310.633                    e =   0.30067
      Node  = 147.392   1950.0           a =   1.43123 AU
      Incl. =  56.300                    n =   0.575626
          q =   1.00090 AU               P =   1.71 years

1985 August 28                 (4098)              Brian G. Marsden
