The following asteroidal object was discovered by A. Maury on
a plate taken by C. Wilson and J. Mueller with the 1.2-m Schmidt
in the course of Palomar Sky Survey II. The positions have been
measured by K. Sangster and M. Rudnyk under E. Helin's direction.
