COMET HELIN (1987w)
Eleanor F. Helin, Jet Propulsion Laboratory, reports her
discovery of a comet on Palomar Sky Survey II plates exposed by J.
Mueller with the Palomar 1.2-m Schmidt. The object is condensed,
with a faint diffuseness toward p.a. 235 deg, suggesting a tail that
is visible on both nights. The following measures are by J. Alu:

     1987 UT R.A. (1950) Decl. m1
     Aug. 24.43264 1 22 08.33 + 4 01 59.5 16.5
