Eleanor Helin, Jet Propulsion Laboratory, reports her discovery
of a comet on films taken by Ron Helin, Brian Roman and Randy Crockett
and herself with the 0.46-m Schmidt telescope at Palomar:
1989 UT R.A. (1950) Decl. m1
Jan. 2.43 8 37 5 +21 20
