PERIODIC COMET RUSSELL 3 (1989d)
J. Gibson reports his recovery of this comet with the Palomar 1.5-m
reflector + CCD as shown below. On Jan. 1 there was a faint coma about 5"
in diameter with a sharp central condensation. Seeing was poor on Jan. 2.
