PERIODIC COMET WEST-HARTLEY (1989k)
R. M. West, European Southern Observatory, has measured the
following precise positions from exposures taken by G. Pizarro with
the 1-m Schmidt in somewhat less than perfect conditions. The comet
appears as a condensation in a halo, with a weak tail about 1 arcmin
long on the western side of each trail.
