COMET AUSTIN (1989c1)
     The orbital elements below, by B. G. Marsden, Center for
Astrophysics, from MPC 16001, are based on observations through
Feb. 19.  The corresponding 'original' 1/a = -0.00041 +/- 0.00016,
supporting the statement on IAUC 4958 that the comet is probably
'new' in the Oort sense.

                    Epoch = 1990 Apr. 19.0 ET
     T = 1990 Apr.  9.9761 ET         Peri. =  61.5546
     e = 1.000380                     Node  =  75.2132  1950.0
     q = 0.349957 AU                  Incl. =  58.9596

     The predicted magnitudes in the following ephemeris are mean
values of the formulae used on IAUC 4926 and 4958.
