COMET MUELLER (1992g)
Jean Mueller, Palomar Observatory, reports her discovery of a
probable comet on a 90-min IIIa-J exposure on Apr. 9 by C. Brewer and
herself (the same plate on which SN 1992S was found) for PSSII. The
image is softer than (but also fainter than) those of some minor
planets found on the plate, with a possible hint of a tail to the
west. The image on the 30-min exposure on Apr. 11 is too weak to
confirm whether the object is cometary or not.
