COMET BRADFIELD (1992i)
     With the help of D. Herald's ephemeris on IAUC 5524, M. P.
Candy, Perth Observatory, was able to locate a trailed image of the
comet on a May 11 survey film (300-mm focal length), and an orbit
computation by B. G. Marsden fitted to the end of this trail then
allowed diffuse images of the comet to be picked up after
conjunction at Perth and Mt. John on May 29:

M. P. Candy and G. Lowe (Perth Observatory).  May 11: end of trail
   much better defined than beginning.  May 29: comet's image is a
   faint blob about 20" across.
A. C. Gilmore (Mount John Observatory).  Large and diffuse images
   with no obvious central condensation.  Measurer P. M. Kilmartin.

     Improved parabolic orbital elements by Marsden from 10
observations May 4-29:
