     R. H. McNaught reports his discovery of a fast-moving asteroidal
object on a U.K. Schmidt Telescope plate taken by M. Hartley.
Following his own observations with the Uppsala Schmidt telescope,
McNaught identified a pre-discovery image on a UKST I plate taken
by A. Savage.
