     E. F. Helin and K. Lawrence report their discovery of a fast-
moving asteroidal object on films taken by themselves and R.
Bambery with the 0.46-m Palomar Schmidt telescope; their November
observations below were measured by P. Rose.  Further observations
(with V magnitude) were obtained in December by J. E. Rogers
(Camarillo, CA) using a 0.25-m Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope (+ CCD).
