This PSN is clearly visible in a series of 10 x 30 second images taken at Runaway Bay Observatory, Queensland, Australia using a 350mm F7 SCT and ST10XE CCD camera at 1.1asppx. Approximate magnitude 17.0 unfiltered, limiting magnitude is 18.5U.

Mag.= 17.0 V, position end figures 08s.73, 50".5, on an image composed from 3-frames which were taken by each 120-seconds exposure under the limiting magnitude = 18.5, remotely using a 0.43-m f/6.8 astrograph + CCD (FLI Proline 16803) at the iTelescopeNET Siding Spring, Australia. Observer T. Yusa, Osaki, Japan. An image was posted at URL http://space.geocities.jp/yusastar77/supernova/PSNinN55_141007.htm Nothing is visible at this position on Digitized Sky Survey red images (limiting mag. > 20, 1989 Aug.29).
