Róbert Fidrich and Tamás Tordai (HAA/VSS) report the independent discovery of a 17.5C magnitudes bright possible nova in M31. Discovered using 10x180s co-added images made with the 0.3 Newtonian reflextor of T. Tordai, with Clear filter on 2025 October 16.8618UT.
