Mi Zhang and Xing Gao, report the discovery of a possible nova (mag approximately 16.7) on several 120-s survey image (limiting mag about 19.0) taken by Xing Gao at Xingming Observatory #2 (N89) around Nov. 20.54388 UTC using a unfiltered CCD ( 0.5-m f/4 reflector ). The transient approximately located at R.A.=00h40m19.74s +40d49’36”.0 (equinox 2000.0). Which is about 1630.1" west and 1592.5" south of the center of the NGC224(M31). Nothing is visible at this position on archival images taken on Nov. 19.60288 (limiting mag 18.0) . Images can be found at: http://xjltp.china-vo.org/xm45mz.html

We performed some follow-up of this object 2020.11.20.83488 (unfiltered magnitude = 16.5) on several images through a 0.25-m f/4 reflector + CCD and exposure 6x90sec.from MPC Code C77 (Bernezzo Observatory, Italy) Andrea Mantero

We reported TOCP (2020-11-20 14:04 UT) 4 minutes before asasas-sn reported TNS (2020-11-20 14:08 UT). However, because TOCP does not display the reporting time, the order of discovery can not be determined. Login authentication for TNS is unfriendly.
