Gianluca Masi reports the discovery of this possible nova, visible on several unfiltered images, remotely collected with the 250mm-f/4.5 robotic unit installed at the Virtual Telescope Project’s facility, in Manciano, Italy. The new source is not visible on SDSS9 as available via Aladin. There is a very faint source on Aladin’s Panstarrs DR1 about 2” SW from the position of this new transient. This new source is not visible on images taken on 24 Sept. with the same setup used to discover it.
