U.Quadri, L.Strabla, R.Girelli from (IAU Station 565) Bassano Bresciano Astronomical Observatory, Brescia - Italy , in the course of the ISSP Italian Supernovae Search Project, confirm this transient at position: 00 42 42.83 +41 12 34.0 - V Mag= 16.9 - Offset: 16W 213S. First image was taken on 2016-11-29.82391 by our Newton 250mm F/4 automated telescope.

I made a follow-up this transient, its magnitude is U16.7 by Astrometrica (UCAC-4) with 0.45m F4.6 Reflector with FLI ML8300, 2 bin, 60 sconds exposure. Taken at Fujimi-machi, Nagano, Japan by Kunihiro Shima

Jeffrey D. Molloy, WeiKang Zheng and Alexei V. Filippenko (UC Berkeley) report the independent LOSS discovery of PNV J00424281+4112334 (=kait-16bv) on an unfiltered KAIT images taken at Dec. 02.251 UT with clear band mag (close to R) of 16.9, the target was detected again on Dec. 04.192 UT with clear mag ~17.2.
