2015 11 05.83

Discovered by J. Vales (mag. 18.2) on four unfiltered images, taken on 2015 Nov. 5.83-5.88 UT with 60-cm, f/3.3 Cichocki telescope at Crni Vrh Observatory in the course of the Comet and Asteroid Search Program (PIKA). The object is 6" W and 15" N from the center of the apparent host galaxy. Nothing is visible at this position on several Digitized Sky Survey red and blue images from the Palomar Sky Survey. Image: http://www.observatorij.org/vstars/PSN20151105/PSNJ00545681+1048036.jpg Two unfiltered confirmation images were taken by H. Mikuz on 2015 Nov. 6.93UT with the same telescope and object at the same brightness. H. Mikuz, Crni Vrh Observatory.

2015 11 07.77239

This transient was observed on 2015 11 07.77239 by G. Masi, remotely using the 17"-f/6.8 robotic unit part of the Virtual Telescope Project facility, at Bellatrix Astronomical Observatory in Ceccano, Italy. 120-seconds exposures, unfiltered, show the source at mag. 18.0 (R mags for the reference stars from UCAC-4). We also performed astrometry, getting the following end figures: 56.87; 03.2 (J2000.0, mean residuals of 0.2" on both axes).
