2011 12 31.731

Discovered of a possible supernova (R=19.6) in 12-min co-added unfiltered CCD images (limiting mag 20.5) taken on 2011 Dec. 31.731 UT with the 0.60-m Schmidt telescope at Konkoly Observatory at Piszk\'estet\H o, Hungary. The new object is located at R.A. = 1h08m57s.31, Decl. = +14d42'38".8 (equinox 2000.0), which is 4".0 west and 4.4 north of the center of the presumed host galaxy, SDSS J010857.57+144233.9 (whose r magnitude is 17.39). Nothing is visible at this position on SDSS image. Additional unfiltered magnitudes for PSN J01085731+1442388 with the Schmidt telescope: 2011 Aug. 26.04 UT, [21.0 (K. Sárneczky). K. Sárneczky and A. Szing (Konkoly Observatory, Hungary) PS: the transient is slightly uncertain, because the SNR=3.0

2012 01 08.8

PSN J01085731+1442388 is not a supernova. No object visible in 6 min co-added r-band CCD images (limiting mag r=21.3) taken with the 2.5-m INT on La Palma. (B. Sipőcz & K. Sárneczky)

2012 01 07.8

[Obs time corrected] PSN J01085731+1442388 is not a supernova. No object visible in 6 min co-added r-band CCD images (limiting mag r=21.3) taken with the 2.5-m INT on La Palma. (B. Sipőcz & K. Sárneczky)
