This possible supernova near UGC 1062 was detected with 5 x 15 min images using a luminance filter Photometry: Mag 18.81 +/- 0.07 L (V for ref) Astrometry: RA 01 28 47.61 Dec -00 36 30.7 These data were collected remotely by Joseph Brimacombe, Cairns, Australia. 2013 09 07.934

This transient was observed on 2013 09 07.934 by Gianluca Masi, Francesca Nocentini and Patrick Schmeer, remotely using the 17" robotic unit part of the Virtual Telescope Project facility in Ceccano, Italy. Unfiltered images show a source at mag. 19.0 (R mags for the reference stars from UCAC-4). We also performed astrometry, getting the following end figures: 47.68s; 31.1" (J2000.0, mean residuals of 0.15" on both axes): this position is a few arcseconds far from the nominal position
