Mag.= 16.2. This is the first discovery by Y. Hirose who reported this PSN on November 1st, 00:10am JST. Position end figures 45s.81, 30".5 using a 0.35-m f/5.7 Schmidt-Cassegrain + unfiltered CCD (SBIG ST9XEi). K. Itakagaki reports this PSN (http://www.k-itagaki.jp/images/ngc-881.jpg) on Nov. 1st, 00:59am JST.

Object detected at position end figures 45.74s , 29.9" (NOMAD). Magnitude 15.6 U +/- 0.1. 3x300sec images remotely taken by L. Elenin at ISON-NM Observatory (MPCCOD H15) with 0.45-m f/2.8 astrograph and have limit magnitude about 19.5. Nothing visible at this position on DSS and DSS2 images. Image available at http://spaceobs.org/images/TOCP/PSNJ02184584-0638304.jpg Observer: L. Elenin, ISON-NM Observatory, Mayhill, NM, USA.

2011 11 01.2940

Mag.=16.9, R.A.= 02 18 45.79 Decl=-06 38 30.1, remotely using a 0.25-m f/3.4 hyperbolic astrograph + unfiltered CCD (SBIG ST-10XME) at the RAS Observatory near Mayhill, NM, U.S.A.(H06). Position and magnitude were measured on an image composed from 3-frames which were taken by each 120-seconds exposure under the limiting magnitude = 18.5. Observer T. Yusa, Osaki, Japan. http://space.geocities.jp/yusastar77/PNinN881_111101.htm

2011 11 01.473

Mag.= 16.9 observed by T. Noguchi. Position end figures 45s.83, 30".5 using 0.23-m f/6.3 Schmidt Cassegrain + unfiltered CCD (BITRAN BT-11E).
