In a stack of images totalling 10 minutes of unfiltered exposure time, the object has position end figures 50s.53, 52".2 and magnitude 19.1. This possible supernova in PGC 9159 was detected with 5 x 15 min images using a luminance filter Astrometry: RA 02 24 50.35 Dec 16 10 52.3 Photometry: 19.9 +/- 0.2 L These data were collected remotely by Joseph Brimacombe, Coral Towers Observatory, Cairns, Australia.
