2012 08 27.0283

Simone Leonini, Siena, Italy, report the discovery by S. Leonini, G. Guerrini, P. Rosi and L.M. Tinjaca Ramirez of a PSN in NGC927 (mag. about +17.6CR +/-0.06 – USNO A2) on unfiltered CCD image (limiting mag. about +18.4) taken on 2012 August 27.02828 UT at the Montarrenti Observatory(C88) in the course of an automatic survey of the Italian Supernovae Search Project. Telescope/Detector: RC 0.53m f/8.7 + U47; Astrometry: R.A. 02h26m36.53s, Decl.+12degrees08arcmin55.5arcsec. - equinox 2000.0). Nothing is visible at this position on POSS images and our past images including one on 2012 July 27 (limiting mag. about +19.0). No known minor planets are marked in that position for the time of our observation. Discovery image: http://www.astrofilisenesi.it/public/Sne/Uploads/PSN_in_NGC0927.jpg
