Simone Leonini, Siena, Italy, report the discovery by S. Leonini, G. Guerrini, M. Conti, P. Rosi and L.M. Tinjaca Ramirez of an optical transient near NGC1082 (mag. about +18.14CR +/-0.24 – USNO B1 catalogue) on unfiltered CCD image(limiting mag. about +19.5) taken on 2014 October 24.97101 UT at the Montarrenti Observatory in the course of an automatic survey of the Italian Supernovae Search Project. Telescope: RC D=0.53m f/8.7, Detector: U47. Position: R.A. 02h45m41.38s +/-0.25”, Decl. -08°12'30.1" +/-0.21” - equinox 2000.0. Confirmation images was obtained on 2014 October 25.90038 UT (mag. about +17.99CR +/-0.12 – limiting mag. about +19.0). Last negative image: 2014 september 29 (limiting mag. about +19.0). No known variables stars or minor planets. Discovery image: http://www.astrofilisenesi.it/public/Sne/Uploads/PSN_near_NGC1082.jpg
