2014 12 21.71311

This transient was observed on 2014 12 21.71311 by G. Masi and P. Catalano, remotely using the 17"-f/6.8 robotic unit part of the Virtual Telescope Project facility, at Bellatrix Astronomical Observatory in Ceccano, Italy. 180-seconds exposures, unfiltered, show the source at mag. 18.7 (R mags for the reference stars from UCAC-4). We also performed astrometry, getting the following end figures: 00.77; 05.6 (J2000.0, mean residuals of 0.2" on both axes).

2014 12 20.905

PSN J02490078+1544058 = SNhunt271. Object was confirmed on 3 x 120 luminance images on 2014 December 20.905 using robotic telescope T7 (T7 0.43-m f/6.8 astrograph + CCD) of iTelescope.net at AstroCamp Observatory. Nerpio, Spain. Object measured 17.89 +/- 0.04 with V as reference. Comparison stars are from UCAC4. Image: https://www.flickr.com/photos/watchingthesky/15453999873. S. Howerton.
