Discovered by Pavel Balanutsa on MASTER-Kislovodsk survey images (60-sec unfiltered exposures, limit 18.5m). New object is located 4" east and 8" south of the center of galaxy SDSS J030559.63+043246.0 (g=18.88 r=18.35 i=18.08).

2013 12 23.700

This transient was observed on 2013 12 23.700 by Gianluca Masi, Francesca Nocentini and Patrick Schmeer, remotely using the 17"-f/6.8 robotic unit part of the Virtual Telescope Project facility in Ceccano, Italy. 120-seconds exposures, unfiltered, show the source at mag. 17.3 (R mags for the reference stars from UCAC-4). We also performed astrometry, getting the following end figures: 59.92s; 37.5" (J2000.0, mean residuals of 0.2" on both axes).
