This possible supernova in NGC1404 was seen with 1 min images taken by 25cm Reflector (fl=800mm), ST-10XE CCD camera (GRAS-004) at Mayhill, NM, USA. I compared my image with reference image of NGC 1404 at Astronomical Institutes of the University of Bonn web site (http://www.allthesky.com/galaxies/ngc1404.html) Astrometry: RA 03 38 51.36 Dec -35 35 31.25 Photometry: 12.42V.
