This transient in MCG-2-12-24 was detected with 8 x 10 min images using a red filter Astrometry: RA 04 28 44.77 Dec -12 30 16.3 Photometry: 18.85 +/- 0.10 R These data were collected remotely by Joseph Brimacombe, Cairns, Australia. This object was observed by Federica Luppi and Luca Buzzi from Schiaparelli Observatory, Varese, Italy. In a stack of images totalling 10 minutes of unfiltered exposure time, the object has position end figures 44s.88, 16".3 and magnitude 19.4. This object was observed by P. Miller, P. Roche, A. Tripp, R. Miles, R. Holmes, S. Foglia and L. Buzzi with the 2.0-m f/10 Faulkes Telescope North from Haleakala, HI, USA. In a single 180-sec image with R-Bessel filter under good seeing, the object has position end figures 44s.87, 16".9 and magnitude 18.5 in a 1.5" aperture radius with CMC-14 catalogue.
