Discovered by C. Jacques, L. Amaral, C. Colesanti, E. Pimentel, I. Mussi, J. Ribeiro, M. Domingues, J. Amancio, P. Holvorcem, T. Napoleao on behalf of the Brazilian Transient Search - BraTS - at SONEAR Observatory, Oliveira, Brazil with three frames with 60 seconds exposure using an telephoto 200m f/1.8 + Canon 6D camera with magnitude 12.0 under limiting mag = 13.5. Nothing is visible at this location on the previous frame (limiting mag = 14.5) taken on 2019 Nov. 4.2503 UT. Possible nova in LMC.

Crowded field. The Gaia DR2 source 4652135578095561728 (Gmag. 20.17; J2000.0 position end figures 53.666s, 48.65") is only 0.1" from the position reported by the BraTS team. The transient is confirmed by recent ASAS-SN Sky Patrol (Shappee et al. 2014ApJ...788...48S and Kochanek et al. 2017PASP..129j4502K) observations: 2019 November 8.179 UT, gmag. fainter than 16.4; 9.339, gmag. 10.46; 10.244, 11.77; 11.219, 12.32.
