This possible supernova in IC 421 was detected with 6 x 15 min images using an infrared filter Photometry: Mag 18.51 +/- 0.19 IR > 700 nm (R for ref) Astrometry: RA 05 32 07.25 Dec -07 54 23.8 These data were collected by Joseph Brimacombe, Coral Towers Observatory, Cairns, Australia.
