Discovered by S. Kaneko, Shizuoka-ken, Japan, using 200-mm f/2.8 lens + Digital camera, who writes nothing is visible at this location on his two recent frames (limiting mag.= 14s) taken on 2014 Nov. 14 and 18 UT using same patrol camera. The star was confirmed on the following five frames taken after discovery.

Noguchi, Chiba-ken, Japan, using 0.23-m f/6.3 Schmidt Cassegrain + unfiltered CCD, who found a star (mag.= 17.1) located on almost same position on DSS (POSS2/UKSTU Red 1998.11.05).
