F. Ciabattari, E. Mazzoni and G. Petroni report the discovery of an apparent supernova (unfiltered magnitude = 17.7) on images (limiting magnitude 19.3) obtained on October 21.10 UT and on October 22.16 UT with a 0.5m Newtonian telescope + CCD FLI Proline 4710 camera at Borgo a Mozzano - Italy, in the course of the Italian Supernovae Search Project. The new object is located at A.R. = 07h11m14s.98, Decl. = +31°10'05".8 (equinox 2000.0, astrometry with respect to UCAC-2 stars) which is 9 arcsec west and 9 arcsec south of the centre of Galaxy PGC 20346.
