Carli D.,Ochner P., Reguitti A., Balcon C., and Andreoli V. report the classification of TCP J07353147+0910341 (2025ajvk). A low-resolution spectrum was obtained with the 1.22-m telescope and the B&C spectrograph (dispersion: 2.25 Å/pixel), located at the Asiago Observatory (Italy), on 2025-12-30.042 UT. The spectrum shows a blue continuum with all Balmer lines in absorption, except for Hα (6562.8 Å), which appears filled up due to the accretion disk emissions. The Hβ (4861 Å) line exhibits a FWHM of ≈ 1980 km/s. The spectrum also shows He I absorption at 4026 Å and 4471 Å. We found a likely progenitor in the ZTF database (Bellm et al. 2019) with mean magnitudes zg = 21.7 and zr = 21.6, implying a brightness increase of approximately 7 magnitudes (Δmag ≈ 7). These features are characteristic of a cataclysmic variable (CV). We therefore propose to classify 2025ajvk as a CV.
