GIANCARLO CORTINI-MONTE MAGGIORE OBS.(PREDAPPIO-ITALY)REPORTS THE DISCOVERY OF A PSN ON SEVERAL UNFILTERED CCD IMAGES-LIMIT.MAG.+18.5;MY PRECEDENT IMAGES OF THE SAME FIELD TAKEN ON 2012 APR. 27.9 AND MAY 27.9(U.T.)SHOWED NOTHING AT THE POSITION OF THE PSN(LIMIT.MAG.+18.5)AND IT DOESN'T APPEAR ON POSS(RED AND BLUE PLATES).NO KNOWN MINOR PLANET IS MARKED IN THAT POSITION FOR THE TIME OF THE OBSERVATION.

This object was observed by Federica Luppi and Luca Buzzi from Schiaparelli Observatory, Varese, Italy. In a stack of images totalling 3 minutes of unfiltered exposure time, the object has position end figures 55s.48, 34".4 and magnitude 15.7. This possible supernova in UGC 4067 was seen with 54 x 0.75 min images Astrometry: RA 07 54 55.45 Dec 72 36 34.0 Photometry: 15.8 +/- 0.2 L These data were collected remotely by Joseph Brimacombe, Cairns, Australia.
