This possible supernova in UGC 4294 was detected with 6 x 10 min images using a luminance filer and 5 x 10 min images using an infrared filter Astrometry: RA 08 16 49.02 Dec +60 29 28.5 Photometry: 16.74 +/- 0.12 L (V as ref); 16.39 +/- 0.09 IR > 700 nm (R as ref) These data were collected remotely by Joseph Brimacombe, Cairns, Australia using a 51-cm RCOS and STL11K camera.
