This possible supernova in UGC 4578 was detected with 3 x 15 min images using a luminance filter Astrometry: RA 08 46 15.02 Dec +41 34 41.1 Photometry: 19.36 +/- 0.41 L (V as ref) These data were collected remotely by Joseph Brimacombe, Cairns, Australia. This object was observed by Federica Luppi and Luca Buzzi from Schiaparelli Observatory, Varese, Italy. In a stack of images totalling 8 minutes of unfiltered exposure time, the object has position end figures 14s.99, 40".7 and magnitude 18.4.
