PSN J09093496+3307204 = SNhunt275. Object observed on stack of 144x30-seconds unfiltered image with 0.28m f/5 SCT and Orion StarShoot DSMI III. Object measured 19.9 +/- 0.4 with V as reference. Comparison stars are from SDSS whose g and r data were used to determine V. Image: https://www.flickr.com/photos/watchingthesky/15846899274. S. Howerton. Arkansas City, Kansas.

2015 02 17.82499

This transient was observed on 2015 02 17.82499 by G. Masi, remotely using the 17"-f/6.8 robotic unit part of the Virtual Telescope Project facility, at Bellatrix Astronomical Observatory in Ceccano, Italy. 180-seconds exposures, unfiltered, show the source at mag. 19.6 (R mags for the reference stars from UCAC-4). We also performed astrometry, getting the following end figures: 35.11; 21.5 (J2000.0, mean residuals of 0.2" on both axes).

2015 05 16.9275

This object reported as an LBV by Catalina Real-Time Transient Survey and Stan Howerton in 2015/02/07.390 appears to have erupted significantly and *may* have evolved into a genuine SN. When imaged last night on 2015 05 16.92755 U.T. I estimated it to have risen to unfiltered mag. 16.0. with end figures of 35.11s and 22.2". Ron Arbour South Wonston U.K.
