L. Elenin (Lyubertsy, Russia) and I. Molotov (Moscow, Russia) confirm an apparent supernova PSN J09413802+4840255. Object visible on 3x300sec images remotely taken at ISON-NM Observatory (Mayhill, NM, USA) with 0.45-m f/2.8 telescope + CCD (KAF09000) on Dec. 12.4316. Object located at 09h 41m 38s.08 +/- 0".06, +48 40 23.8 +/- 0".05 (UCAC-4) with magnitude 16.8U (mag. limit ~19.8m). Nothing is visible at this position on the POSS and POSSII images. This possible supernova in MCG+8-18-23 was detected with 2 x 15 min images using a luminance filter Astrometry: RA 09 41 38.12 Dec 48 40 24.9 Photometry: 18.36 +/- 0.17 L These data were collected remotely by Joseph Brimacombe, Cairns, Australia. This object was observed by Federica Luppi and Luca Buzzi from Schiaparelli Observatory, Varese, Italy. In a stack of images totalling 5 minutes of unfiltered exposure time, the object has position end figures 38s.08, 25".2 and magnitude 18.1.
