2020 11 26.13686

The OMB-nova-supernova monitoring in ISSP collaboration, R.Belligoli, F.Castellani, C.Marangoni, reports the discovery of a PNV in M81. The nova was clearly detected on '2020-11-26.13686' UT using 25 x 300s frames (7500s total) obtained by a Moravian G4-9000 KAF unfiltered CCD with the 0.4m f.8 Ritchey-Chrétien telescope from Monte Baldo "A.Gelodi" Astronomic Observatory, località Novezzina, Ferrara di Monte Baldo, Verona, Italy. The discovery magnitude is 19.0±0.5 mag in the CV band (clear visual). We will continue to monitor the nova light curve and strongly encourage additional follow-up observations. The discovery image is also available at: http://www.osservatoriomontebaldo.it/uploads/ISSP/20201126-M81-PNVJ09554718.6904440.jpg

2020 11 27.1332

The OMB-nova monitoring on ISSP collaboration, R.Belligoli, F.Castellani, C.Marangoni, performed some follow-up: The nova was more faint on '2020-11-27.1332' UT using 25 x 300s frames (7500s total) The stimated magnitude is 20.1±0.5 mag in the CV band (clear visual). We will continue to monitor the nova light curve and strongly encourage additional follow-up observations. Follow-up image is also available at: http://www.osservatoriomontebaldo.it/uploads/ISSP/20201127-M81-PNVJ09554718.6904440.jpg
