This object was observed by Federica Luppi and Luca Buzzi from Schiaparelli Observatory, Varese, Italy. In a stack of images totalling 8 minutes of unfiltered exposure time, the object has position end figures 34s.00, 58".7 and magnitude 18.1. This possible supernova in UGC 5448 was detected with 5 x 15 min images using a luminance filter Astrometry: RA 10 06 34.04 Dec +14 25 57.7 Photometry: 19.45 +/- 0.13 These data were collected remotely by Joseph Brimacombe, Cairns, Australia.
