This possible supernova in IC 2576 was detected with 5 x 15 min images using an infrared filter Astrometry: RA 10 25 59.72 Dec -32 54 09.3 Photometry: Mag 18.11 +/- 0.18 IR > 700 nm (R for ref) These data were collected by Joseph Brimacombe, Cairns, Australia.
