This possible supernova found by John Appleyard of Ontario Canada was detected on several images starting at Aug.15.8769 U.T. It is clearly visible at 11"w and 7"s of NGC 3288. Astrometry end figures RA 24.21s Dec. 15.5" and Photometry 16.5 unfiltered. Ron Arbour South Wonston U.K.

This object was observed by Federica Luppi and Luca Buzzi from Schiaparelli Observatory, Varese, Italy. In a stack of images totalling 14 minutes of unfiltered exposure time, the object has position end figures 24s.24, 15".5 and magnitude 16.9.
