Astrometry on a stack of 3 images of this possible supernova provided end figures of RA: 19.22s and Dec: 46.3" while photometry gave mag. 17.7 unfiltered. 35cm f/6 SCT and SXVR H9. Observational data provided by Ron Arbour, Pennell Observatory, South Wonston, U.K. IAU 979.

L. Elenin (Lyubertsy, Russia) and I. Molotov (Moscow, Russia) confirm an apparent supernova PSN J11071919+4622462. Object visible on 3x300sec images remotely taken at ISON-NM Observatory (Mayhill, NM, USA) with 0.45-m f/2.8 telescope + CCD (KAF09000) on Dec. 5.424. Object located at 11h 07m 19s.27 +/- 0".06, +46d 22' 46".5 +/- 0".05 (UCAC-4) with magnitude 18.0U (mag. limit ~19.4m). Nothing is visible at this position on the POSS and POSSII images. This possible supernova in MCG +8-20-89 was detected with 7 x 15 min images using a luminance filter Astrometry: RA 11 07 19.25 Dec 46 22 45.5 Photometry: 18.19 +/- 0.07 L (V for ref) These data were collected remotely by Joseph Brimacombe, Cairns, Australia. This object was observed by Federica Luppi and Luca Buzzi from Schiaparelli Observatory, Varese, Italy. In a stack of images totalling 5 minutes of unfiltered exposure time, the object has position end figures 19s.23, 45".6 and magnitude 17.0.
