L. Elenin (Lyubertsy, Russia) and I. Molotov (Moscow, Russia) confirm an apparent supernova PSN J11484578-2817312. Object visible on 3x150sec images remotely taken at ISON-NM Observatory (Mayhill, NM, USA) with 0.4-m f/3 telescope + CCD (KAF09000) on Nov. 29.4829, 2013. Object located at 11h 48m 45s.75 +/- 0".11, -28d 17' 31".5 +/- 0".09 (UCAC-4) with magnitude 16.2R (mag. limit ~18.9m). Nothing is visible at this position on the POSS and POSSII images. This supernova in ESO 440-G11 was detected with 1 x 10 min images using a clear filter Photometry: 16.10 +/- 0.70 L (V as ref) Astrometry: RA 11 48 45.78 Dec -28 17 31.0 These data were collected remotely by Joseph Brimacombe, Coral Towers Observatory, Cairns, Australia.
