I confirmed possible supernova in NGC3972 that was easily seen with 120 sec CCD images using 30cm Dall-Kirkham Cassegrain Reflector (fl=3572mm) at Mayhill, New Mexico, USA (GRAS-001). Mag. V=14.76, Rc=14.59, Ic=14.51. Position end figures are 45.54 and 33.83. I checked several images of NGC3972 on Internet. Seiichiro Kiyota (Tsukuba, Japan)
