This possible supernova in M61 was not detected with 8 x 10 min images using a clear filter These data were collected remotely from New Mexico Skies, Mayhill, New Mexico, USA by Joseph Brimacombe, Coral Towers Observatory, Cairns, Australia. WeiKang Zheng & Patrick Kelly report that a R-band image was obtained by Patrick Kelly with the 3-m Shane telescope at Lick Observatory on April 03.31 UT. The possible SN candidate is clearly detected in the image. Due to lack of reference star information, we are unable to estimate the target brightness, a rough guess would be around 20.0 +/- 0.5 mag.
